Hello London… you always amaze me with your vegan wonders!
When we went vegan over 6 years ago and it was so difficult to find vegan food on the go, but now it’s literally a walk in the park… or down any street in London.
It’s difficult to summarise my favourite places but here are a few of my usuals!
Fields Beneath– Kentish Town, Camden
A fully vegan cafe in both Kentish Town and Camden… also the first place I have had almond croissants since I went vegan. I would genuinely swing by just for the sweet treats.
WAVE Cafe– Hackney
This place is literally a slice of Bali in London. It’s a beautiful place to catch up with your friends or grab your laptop, enjoy some smoothies and chill out. Also they have so many vegan pancake options and freshly baked delights.
Kalifornia Kitchen– Tottenham Court Road
Bright pink and gorgeous interiors. With so many fancy types of coffee and the chef can accommodate extra dietary requirements if you contact them in advance.
Purezza– Camden
My favourite vegan pizza place hands down. The staff are amazing and make a real effort and even remember you when you come back. They have the most incredible gluten free pizza bases and even the best beetroot latte! Top on my list of places to go!
Mildreds– Camden, Kings Cross, Dalston, Soho
So many different branches across London. Some of them even offering brunch on the weekends and the main courses are so filling and they have a great menu with all allergies listed on there too.
Tibits– Heddon St, Bankside
Fantastic place to go if you want a small quick bite to eat. Food is done on weight and you can basically have a bit of every dish! Everything is clearly labelled and their desserts are fantastic too (chocolate lava cake and lemon drizzle cake is a must).
Stem + Glory – Barbican
A new place on the scene and it did not let down. Kunj organised this as a surprise and again if you let the chef know of any allergies before hand they can cook you a special meal. Make sure you get the avocado and beetroot starter!
Farmacy– Notting Hill
This place is super cute with so many healthy juices and their takes on so many traditional dishes like ‘Milk and cookies’.
